Today (after many weeks of forgetfulness) I recommend Fuck Yeah, Globetrotters.  This blog is just so damn inspirational.  Seeing such a diverse range of cultures, colours, beauty and landscapes from all over the world really makes me wish I had the resources to backpack across Europe or Asia.

What I Wore (A Few Months Ago When It Was Warmer): polka dot low-back minidress from Supre, black belt from Sportsgirl, ankle-strap flats from Zu, elephant necklace from Design A Space, yellow satchel from ASOS & blue-black nail polish from The Face Shop. You might recognise this dress from here.  I’ll probably start drawing my winter WIWs in a week or two (even though we’re already halfway through winter). Process animation:

Commission WIP! Sorry about the delay in updates!  I haven’t been home much.  I’ve come to realise that despite the absence of uni, holidays are a TERRIBLE time to draw because I’m too busy having a life.  (One that doesn’t exist during semester.) :( Let me also introduce you to my brand spanking new domain name (!!): www.vm-bui.com

What I Wore (A Few Months Ago When It Was Warmer): grey loose-fit tee from Supre, electric blue skirt from Insight, yellow leather satchel from ASOS, sneakers from Converse, handmade feather earring. I love my yellow bag!  It makes me so happy.  RIP skirt, though, as some crazy person decided to wash it with something red.

And here’s short progress video for this picture.  Many of you have asked to see one for my WIW series, so here you go.  It’s a fairly simple & quick process.  Usually takes 20-40 minutes unless I’m drawing very clean lines or a lot of details.  If I’m umming & erring over colours/posing/other things, then it can take up to an hour or two.

Wore this a few of months ago, during Spring/Autumn.  I’ve got a bunch of these I never coloured.  I’ll try to finish them all before I start drawing my winter gear.
