These commissions are for personal, non-commercial, non-profit uses only. They are intended for individuals, not businesses. If you are interested in a commission for commercial use, please email me.
Please also note that these are digital illustrations, and you will be receiving a digital copy, not a physical hard copy.
♦ PROCESS
- Send me an email (ravenskar@gmail.com) with as much information as you can muster. Remember to tell me the type of commission, and details about the character (references, descriptions of their appearance, personality, preferred pose/expression, etc). It’s also fine if you prefer to give me artistic freedom. :)
- You send me the full payment up front to my PayPal address (ravenskar@gmail.com). Direct bank deposit is also acceptable if you’re within Australia.
- Upon receiving the payment, I will start working on a rough sketch. After I send it to you, you may request the following changes: up to two major revisions (i.e. pose, outfit) and any minor revisions (i.e. expression, accessories, hair length).
- When you are satisfied with the sketch, I will continue on with the final piece. After receiving this, you may request any minor changes (colour adjustments, small tweaks). Once you’re happy, I’ll send you the large, high-resolution version of the piece.
♦ TERMINATING THE COMMISSION
If you decide to terminate the commission for any reason, you must pay for all the artwork I have done up until the point of termination. This includes rough sketching, lineart, colours, etc.
Please make sure you are prepared to be fully committed to the commission and process when you make your request.
♦ EXAMPLES
Type ONE: $10 USD ($15 USD for Full Body)
Rough, simple sketch with simple colour wash. Client chooses the colour scheme.
Type TWO: $15 USD ($25 USD for Full Body)
Solid black & white sketch, with coloured highlight. Random graphic background deco is optional. Client chooses colour for extra highlights. This style allows for more detail in trimmings (eg. lace), elaborate accessories & hairstyle.
Type THREE: $25 USD ($45 USD for Full Body)
Rough sketch with loose, monochrome digital painting. Light texture overlay. Client chooses colour scheme.
Type FOUR: $35 USD ($60 for Full Body, as shown)
More detailed sketch with some shading. Lineart has a colour wash.
Additional Character(s)
For every additional character, just add 80% of the base price.
Background
A background of any variety (other than a plain colour wash) will incur a little extra. The price depends on the complexity of what you’d like, but will usually start from an extra 50% on top of the base price.
More Complex Illustrations
If you are interested in a commission that involves a full digital paint (like many of my finished pieces), then please wait for a few weeks. :) For the moment, I am only taking the smaller/quicker types of commissions above, as I am trying to raise as much money as I can within a limited period of time.
